  • New this year, the welcoming ceremony and reception will be held the evening of Wednesday November 26, 2025 between 4:30pm – 6:00pm in the Exhibit Hall. Join us for a keynote address from Dr. Dan Drucker along with remarks and welcome from Diabetes Canada, the Canadian Society for Endocrinology and Metabolism and an Indigenous Elder Jimmy Dick. CSEM: Current and Novel Approaches to Thyroid Nodules: What to Tell Your Patients

This session will:
Describe the indications for Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) and appropriate patient selection for this procedure.
Compare and contrast treatment options for benign, hyperfunctional, and malignant thyroid nodules—including RFA, surgery, and active surveillance.
Describe technical aspects of RFA including complications and post-RFA ultrasound findings.
Evaluate current evidence and identify areas of uncertainty or controversy surrounding RFA procedures in thyroid nodule management.

Registration Fees (dinner included): Complimentary for CSEM members; $100 for non-members.
