Learning Objectives: This session will:
1. Identify and analyze the challenges associated with dirty data in research involving Indigenous Communities 2. Examine the phenomenon of pretendians and its impact on Indigenous representation and data integrity 3. Promote awareness of cultural sensitivities and promote trust building strategies between researchers and Indigenous communities 4. Advocate for data validation and accuracy to ensure responsible use and interpretation of information related to Indigenous populations.
