Céleste Thériault is a dedicated community leader, bringing a values-driven approach to her work and always prioritizing the greater good of the community. With experience as a project manager in primary care, Céleste discovered her passion for health-related initiatives, particularly diabetes care, a cause close to her heart due to its impact on her family. Though not a person living with diabetes herself, Céleste is committed to inspiring hope and fostering self-advocacy among First Nation, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.As the Executive Director of the National Indigenous Diabetes Association (NIDA), she is honoured to continue advancing this important work. Céleste is a proud member of the Red River Métis Nation and is deeply rooted in her heritage. She lives and works in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on Treaty 1 Territory. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Winnipeg, a Certificate with Honours in Project Management from RRC Polytech, and recently graduated with her Master of Business Administration at Queen’s University Smith School of Business. Outside of her professional pursuits, Céleste enjoys adventuring with her dog, Ollie, connecting with loved ones, and practicing beadwork.
