Laurie Mereu is a Professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology at the University of Alberta. She completed her medical degree at the University of Western Ontario and residency training in Endocrinology & Metabolism at the University of Toronto. She is a clinician educator and is involved teaching learners at all levels. She is also the Conference Chair for the Division of Endocrinology's Annual Diabetes & Endocrine Update. She is the Director of Resident Transfers for Postgraduate Medicine. She is an examiner for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Examination Board.
