Dr. Rosa Corcoy, MD, PhD is the Director of the Diabetes Unit at Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau, Associate Professor of Medicine at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, current Treasurer of the European Diabetic Pregnancy Study Group and an Associate Editor at Diabetologia.
Among other projects, she has acted as the Local PI for DALI (Vitamin D and lifestyle intervention for GDM prevention) and CONCEPTt (Continuous Glucose Monitoring in Women with Type 1 Diabetes in Pregnancy Trial) projects. Currently she is PI of the Bioengineering, Biomaterials and Nanomedicine CIBER excellence research network and local PI of BIPCOM (Medical comorbities in bipolar disorder: clinical validation of risk factors and biomarkers to improve prevention and treatment).
In 2010, she received the Premio Rodríguez Miñón de Investigación Clínica Senior of the Sociedad Española de Diabetes and in 2012 the Jorgen Pedersen Medal of the Diabetic Pregnancy Study Group.
Her main interests are endocrine disorders & pregnancy and technology applications in the care of persons with diabetes.
