Virginie Blanchette is an associate professor at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), Canada and a researcher at VITAM: Centre for Sustainable Health Research. Trained as a podiatrist and a scientist in implementation science and knowledge mobilization, her research program focuses on the prevention and management of diabetic foot complications and overall foot health, using approaches in sustainable health and knowledge mobilization. Dedicated to improving foot health practices for all, including the most vulnerable populations, she collaborates with various national and international groups and associations to develop practice guidelines, and guide the implementation of practical and accessible solutions with the diverse stakeholders including patients and the public.
