Agathe Rio, MD, MSc - Pediatric Endocrinology Fellow, CHU Sainte-Justine, Montréal
Dr. Agathe Rio is a pediatric endocrinology fellow at CHU Sainte-Justine. After completing her pediatric residency in France and earning her medical degree from the University of Caen, she pursued postgraduate training in pediatric endocrinology and diabetology at Paris-Saclay University, where she also completed a master’s degree in endocrinology and metabolism. Her current research focuses on bone fragility in Duchenne muscular dystrophy, including the impact of bisphosphonates and the development of a polygenic risk score for osteoporosis. Dr. Rio has a particular interest in thyroid, bone metabolism disorders, and rare genetic endocrine conditions.
